The State of California Stay at Home Order has been lifted and we re-opened on January 28, 2021.

The State of California has announced that the Stay at Home Order for the Bay Area region, including Monterey County will remain in effect for an unspecified period of time.  We currently plan to re-open on January 28, 2021.

As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will be closed from December 13, 2020 through January 10, 2021.

Be assured that when we re-open we will have used and will be continuing to follow CDC and CAL OSHA cleaning standards, using hospital grade disinfectants. 
 

Details of our updated procedures related to COVID-19 will be available, upon request, at Check In.

Masks will be required on site by all of our employees and employee temperatures will be checked prior to every shift.   
 

Masks will be required for any guests entering the office, at any time.

The health of our guests, our employees and their families are of utmost importance to us.

Due to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, Borg’s Ocean Front Motel has temporarily suspended our business operation.

 

We have proudly welcomed guests for more than 72 years, and we look forward to re-opening our doors again soon.

 

Currently, we are projecting a re-opening date of Thursday, June 11, 2020. At this time, reservations can be made either online or by phone for arrivals beginning June 11, 2020.
